Charity Intelligence (Ci) Canada Top Picks 2011 - Distress Centres Recognized as one of the chosen 33 Recommended Charities by Ci
Charity Intelligence Canada (www.charityintelligence.ca) researches charities across Canada every year to create a list of their “top picks”. Charities undergo a very transparent research and analysis process in order to be recognized as a Recommended Charity by Ci.
“To find excellence, Ci researchers and assesses charities. Our assessment extends far beyond just the numbers, looking a charity’s mission, theory of change, history of results, outcomes rather than just outputs, and management,” states the Top Picks 2011 Charity Intelligence Canada report.
This year, 237 charities across Canada were contacted by Ci, 93 submitted audited financial statements, Ci conducted 77 in-depth analyses of various selected charities from across the country, and 33 charities were recommended. Find full report here
